Recycling your Ezee vape products
This page explains how to correctly dispose of your Ezee vape products in line with UK recycling guidelines.
At Ezee, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. As a UK retailer of electronic devices, we comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations to ensure the proper collection and recycling of electronic waste.
This page explains how to correctly dispose of your vaping device in line with WEEE requirements. It also includes guidance on recycling all packaging components including the box, plastic materials, silicone parts and inlays in accordance with UK and EU packaging waste regulations. This information is also provided with your order, either on the packaging or in the enclosed leaflet.
How to recycle your old vape
If you have purchased a vape or other electrical product from us, you can return your old, like-for-like item for free recycling. This means you can return your old vape when buying a new one from us. The item must be the same type of product (for example, vape for vape) and must have originally been purchased from Ezee.
How to recycle devices:
- Devices (Ezee and Ezee Next)
Ezee and Ezee Next devices contain batteries and are classified as electrical waste. They must not be disposed of in general household waste.
Under the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations, these devices should be taken to a designated collection point for electrical items. Most supermarkets and local recycling centres provide facilities for this. You can find your nearest recycling point through your local authority.
- Cartridges and Pods
Cartridges and pods do not contain batteries. They should be disposed of separately from the device. Where possible, they should be recycled as metal. If this is not available in your area, please follow your local authority’s guidance for household waste.

Why recycling matters
Vapes contain lithium batteries and electronic components that must be handled correctly. If disposed of in general waste, they can:
- Cause fires in bin lorries or waste facilities
- Release harmful substances into the environment
- Waste valuable materials such as lithium, aluminium and copper
- Recycling helps ensure these materials are recovered and handled safely.
Important
- Do not dispose of vapes in household waste or standard recycling.
- If your device has a removable battery, remove it and recycle it at a battery collection point where possible.
- If the battery is not removable, recycle the entire device as electrical waste.
