Recycling Information for Vapes and packaging

At Ezee, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. As a retailer of electronic devices, we comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations to ensure proper collection and recycling of electronic waste.

This section explains how to correctly dispose of your electronic vaping device in accordance with WEEE.
Further down, you’ll also find detailed recycling instructions for all packaging components - including the box, plastic materials, silicone parts, and inlay - in line with EU and UK packaging waste regulations. This information is also included with the products you order, either on the packaging or in the enclosed leaflet.

How You Can Recycle Your Old Vapes

If you’ve bought a vape or other electrical product directly from us, you are entitled to return your old, like-for-like product to us for free recycling. 

• This means that if you buy a vape from us, you can return your old vape to us for recycling.
• The returned item must be the same type of product, serving the same function (e.g. vape for vape).
• The device must have originally been purchased from us.

If you'd prefer to recycle your vape locally instead of sending it back to us, you can easily find a nearby recycling point: Use a recycling locator to search for a WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) collection point near you.

Please note:

• The recycling service itself is free, but you will need to pay for any shipping or delivery costs to return the old item to us.
• We do not accept products that were not originally bought from Ezee.

Please do not throw vapes in household waste or recycling bins. They contain batteries and other components that must be handled safely. Always take them to a designated collection point that accepts small electricals. To return your old vape for recycling, please contact our customer service team or refer to the instructions on your order confirmation page. We’ll guide you through the process to ensure safe and compliant return.

How to recycle packaging materials

For Ezee Pod+:

• Outer packaging (Box):
  • Material Code: PAP 22
  • Disposal: Place in the paper recycling bin.
• Plastic bag around pods:
  • Material Code: PP 05
  • Disposal: Place in the plastic recycling bin.
• Silicone caps on both Ends of the pod:
  • Material Code: C/7
  • Disposal: Dispose of in the general waste bin (not recyclable).
• Leaflet & user guide (Inlay):
  • Material Code: PAP 22
  • Disposal: Place in the paper recycling bin.

For Ezee

• Outer packaging (Box):

• Blister packing around cartridges:
  • Material Code: PP 05
  • Disposal: Dispose of in the general waste bin (not recyclable)

Why Recycling Matters

Throwing vapes in general waste is dangerous. They contain lithium batteries and electronic components that can:

• Cause fires when crushed or punctured in bin lorries or waste sites
• Leak hazardous substances into the environment
• Waste valuable materials like lithium, aluminium and copper

By recycling your old device with us, you help protect the environment and support responsible waste management.

Important Reminders

• Never bin vapes with household waste or recycling.
• If your device has a removable battery, take it out and recycle it through a battery collection point if possible.
• For single-use vapes or non-removable batteries, return the whole device.

All of our products feature the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, which indicates that the device should not be disposed of with regular household waste. This symbol is part of EU and UK regulations to promote the proper disposal of electronic devices and batteries. Instead, these products must be taken to designated recycling centers to ensure environmentally responsible disposal.
